Head of IT and Digital Transformation

About the role

A leading diversified international group operating across construction, real estate, hospitality, energy and private equity is seeking a senior technology leader to define and drive its IT and digital transformation agenda. Reporting to the Executive Director, the role will shape a secure, scalable and future‑ready technology ecosystem that supports growth across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Group IT strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Lead enterprise‑wide digital transformation initiatives across business units and locations.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud environments, Microsoft 365, enterprise applications, networks and technology operations.
• Establish robust cybersecurity frameworks, governance standards and risk‑management practices.
• Optimize ERP, CRM, document management, business intelligence and digital workplace platforms.
• Identify and implement AI, automation, analytics and emerging technology opportunities.
• Support adoption of digital construction technologies such as BIM, smart construction solutions, IoT and project technology platforms.
• Manage technology budgets, vendors, strategic partners and service‑delivery performance.
• Lead, mentor and develop IT teams across different locations.
• Act as a strategic technology advisor to executive leadership.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive IT experience with significant senior leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record in IT strategy, digital transformation, cybersecurity and enterprise technology operations.
• Experience managing IT environments across multiple business units, subsidiaries or international locations.
• Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior stakeholders and business leaders.
