About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel functions across departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. The role involves cleaning, maintaining equipment, and transporting linens and dishware to ensure a safe and high‑quality environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen, dining, and laundry areas, operating dishwashing machines, linen washers, and dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens throughout the hotel, handling items up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold uniform and appearance standards.
• Support team goals, maintain positive relationships with other departments, and respond to employee concerns.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• No prior related work experience needed.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to follow company policies and maintain professional conduct.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment operation.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks.
