Heavy Duty Driver

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Heavy Duty Driver in Doha, working full time in the oil and gas sector. The driver operates heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles within the warehouse scope, including trucks, flatbed trailers and pickup vans, in line with company procedures and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles within the warehouse scope, including trucks, flatbed trailers, pickup vans and other assigned equipment, according to company procedures and regulations.
• Load and unload raw materials at designated stations using company equipment and systems, complying with operational and safety procedures.
• Carry out pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any defects or abnormalities promptly.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and loaded in line with company SOPs, legal requirements and industry best practice.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logbooks and operational records.
• Drive safely and efficiently, following legislation, company policies, procedures and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum of five years of proven experience operating heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles in industrial, logistics or warehouse environments, with a strong record of safe driving.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections, secure loads, maintain logbooks and carry out basic warehouse and material handling activities in line with company procedures.
