Helicopter Captain (AW139) – VIP/VVIP Transport

About the role

The Helicopter Captain will lead safe and efficient AW139 operations supporting VIP and VVIP transportation missions in Doha, Qatar. You will ensure compliance with civil aviation regulations, company SOPs, and security requirements while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all operational procedures, checklists, and regulatory requirements for each flight.
• Conduct thorough pre‑flight planning, risk assessments, weather evaluations, and mission briefings.
• Verify aircraft airworthiness and ensure all documentation, equipment, and approvals are valid.
• Lead the crew, delegate tasks, and promote teamwork to achieve safe mission execution.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to provide necessary information for safe operations.

Required profile

• Current type rating on the AW139 helicopter.
• Minimum 1,000 flight hours on the AW139 (preferred) and 3,000 total helicopter hours.
• At least 500 PIC hours, including 100 PIC hours on the AW139.
• Demonstrated experience in multi‑crew helicopter operations.
• Previous VIP/VVIP helicopter transport experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, operational procedures, and safety management.
• Fluent English with effective communication skills.
