Hostess – Restaurant Front‑of‑House at Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to join the front‑of‑house team at our luxury hotel restaurant in Doha. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience while supporting the overall dining operation.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls within three rings using proper etiquette.
• Record, confirm, and manage restaurant reservations and cancellations.
• Communicate reservation changes to management promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized hostess stand, menus, and check folders.
• Review the reservation book, pre‑assign tables, and handle special requests.
• Greet guests at the entrance, seat them according to the floor plan, and present the open menu.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with their assigned tables and maintain positive guest relations.
• Provide accurate information about hotel services and activities.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic, Russian) are a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in food & beverage or restaurant operations, preferably in a quality hotel.
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor with the ability to support the team.
• Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working independently.
