Human Resources Manager (Hospitality)

About the role
We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for Volume Café, a vibrant café, library and event space in Doha. The role will manage the complete employee lifecycle for front‑of‑house, back‑of‑house and support staff, ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management and off‑boarding for all staff.
- Maintain staffing levels, create schedules and support workforce planning in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
- Provide guidance to supervisors on employee relations issues and ensure compliance with Qatari labour laws.
- Keep HR records and HRIS data accurate and up‑to‑date.
- Design and deliver training programmes and support career development initiatives.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with service standards and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with operations and senior management to integrate HR practices with overall business strategy.
Required profile
- Strong experience in core HR functions, especially recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and labour‑law compliance, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hospitality, food‑and‑beverage or retail experience is a plus.
- Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
