About the role
You will monitor, guide and assist a team of cleaners to ensure all areas and equipment are cleaned according to Food Safety and hygiene standards, under the direction of a Cleaning Agent, Team Leader or Shift in charge.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and support a group of Assistant I cleaners in assigned zones.
- Ensure cleaning tasks meet Food Safety and hygiene standards.
- Handle sophisticated machinery and sensitive production equipment safely.
- Maintain and safeguard cleaning tools and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and incidents.
- Comply with all safety and food‑safety protocols.
Required profile
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- English communication ability (written and spoken).
- Entry‑level candidate with no prior job‑related experience.
- High school qualification.
- Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Fire‑fighting skills.
