About the role

Join a prestigious international academy in Doha as an IB Diploma Programme History Teacher. You will guide students through global history, fostering inquiry, debate, and critical thinking in line with the IB philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging History lessons aligned with the IB DP framework.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, abilities, and cultural backgrounds.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages inquiry and debate.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities that enhance students’ holistic development.
• Promote respect for Qatari culture and values within the school community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in History and/or Education (advanced degree preferred).
• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3‑4 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in an IB school.
• Experience with the IB Diploma Programme or strong familiarity with inquiry‑based, student‑centred learning.
• Collaborative team player comfortable in a multicultural environment.

• Contract duration of 2 years (fixed‑term).
• Salary range QAR 11,000 – QAR 14,000 per month, based on experience.
