IBM BPM Engineer – Development & Architecture

About the role

Lead the design and development of IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) solutions, providing architecture and consulting to help clients automate their processes using IBM BPM/BAW and J2EE technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the end‑to‑end development life‑cycle of IBM BPM/BAW projects – assess, design, build, deploy and evolve solutions.
• Apply IBM BPM/BAW expertise together with business knowledge to deliver robust J2EE‑based applications.
• Follow development methodologies, standards, naming conventions and best practices.
• Create technical architecture designs that meet user and technical requirements.
• Produce project documentation such as naming standards, technical specifications and test plans.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client end‑users.
• Identify new business areas where IBM BPM and its technology stack can generate value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• At least 5 years of experience with IBM BPM/BAW, J2EE, IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server, focusing on server‑side development.
