ICT Engineer – Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)

About the role

KEO is looking for an ICT Engineer specialised in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to be seconded to a government client in Doha, Qatar. The role will work closely with the Senior ICT Engineer to ensure the Road Management Centre (RMC) ICT infrastructure is available, performant, secure and resilient.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support Road Management Centre (RMC) systems to meet performance, availability and service level targets.
• Review and witness ITS project commissioning, ensuring hosting, configuration and network infrastructure comply with Ashghal specifications.
• Assist in investigation, analysis and design of new projects and existing ITS assets, guaranteeing compute, network, storage and backup capacity.
• Support management and performance monitoring of the RMC ICT and infrastructure maintenance contractor, achieving LAN, hardware and software availability goals.
• Oversee preventive maintenance activities and ensure secondary and contingency measures are operational for RMC/DR control rooms and data‑centre equipment.
• Monitor configuration and management of RMC virtualised environments, ensuring appropriate resource allocation.
