Information Technology Specialist

About the role

As an Information Technology Specialist at voco Doha Central, you will ensure the hotel’s technology ecosystem runs smoothly, supporting both guests and staff. You will be the first line of technical support, handling hardware, software, network and system issues while contributing to pre‑opening technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software, network and system‑related incidents.
• Configure, maintain and monitor hotel IT infrastructure, including PMS, POS, Wi‑Fi, IPTV and telephony.
• Maintain user accounts, access permissions and IT asset inventories.
• Perform system backups, software updates and enforce security procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with IHG technology standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Previous experience in IT support, help‑desk or systems administration, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and pay close attention to detail.
