Inspection Engineer (Maintenance)

About the role

The Inspection Engineer (Maintenance) ensures the quality of Maintenance & Inspection Engineering (MIE) contractor deliverables, guaranteeing compliance with company specifications, standards and local legislation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in technical reviews of maintainability and inspectability during pre‑feed, feed and detailed engineering phases.
• Coordinate and deliver MIEC offshore scopes, driving site implementation of digitalised solutions for baseline enactment.
• Assist MIE contractor work‑package leaders on inspection issues and review technical documentation using the company EDMS (MANASA).
• Follow up FOPS method team clarifications and ensure inspection and integrity activities align with the MIEC contract.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 8 years of experience in petrochemical, refining, oil & gas exploration or similar industry.
• Demonstrable experience with Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations and company standards.
• Fluent English communication skills and ability to work in a complex, multicultural environment.
• Medical fitness for offshore travel and availability for project‑required missions.
