IT Audit Associate – Risk Consulting (Qatar)

About the role

PwC is seeking an IT Audit Associate to join its Risk Consulting team in Qatar. You will work with a regional team of professionals to help leading enterprises identify, assess and respond to technology‑related risks, supporting the delivery of robust cybersecurity and internal control solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional and international teams to analyse technology risks for large organisations.
• Advise senior management, cybersecurity, internal audit and compliance functions on technology risk matters.
• Stay current on information security threats, trends and emerging technologies.
• Assess and test the design and effectiveness of technology controls.
• Provide actionable recommendations to protect client systems and data.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative cybersecurity risk assessments and develop risk response plans.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering).
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to solve complex business problems.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders.
• Interest in risk management, cybersecurity and technology audit.

Required skills

• Knowledge of information security concepts and cybersecurity threats.
• Understanding of technology risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing and evaluating technology controls.
