IT Business Analyst – Plant Systems

About the role

The IT Business Analyst – IT/OT bridges plant operations users with critical IT systems, ensuring availability, reliability, and alignment with business needs. You will gather requirements, support Honeywell and Baker Hughes plant applications, and develop .NET solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with users to capture, analyse, and document business requirements and propose automation or process improvements.
• Support and maintain Honeywell applications (PIMS, PHD, UPS, PCT, AFM, AMS) and Baker Hughes plant systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Develop web and Windows applications using HTML, JavaScript, and .NET, and modify programs in coordination with vendors.
• Perform unit and regression testing, coordinate user acceptance sign‑offs, and manage patch updates.
• Investigate and resolve system incidents, document root causes, and implement preventive fixes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (12+4 years) from a recognised university.
• 5+ years of experience with IT plant operations systems and 3–5 years of .NET programming experience.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent English communication, and a customer‑focused, self‑starting attitude.
