IT Network & Security Engineer

About the role

The IT Network & Security Engineer will design, implement, administer and support the enterprise network across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role ensures high availability, performance, resilience and security of networking services while participating in 24/7 shift rotations and on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco Nexus 7000, Catalyst 3850/9300 switches, Cisco ACI and other enterprise switching platforms.
• Manage wireless LAN controllers, perform firmware upgrades and monitor network performance.
• Configure and administer firewall solutions such as Cisco Firepower (FTD), Cisco ASA, Palo Alto and Fortinet, including policy creation and security hardening.
• Implement and troubleshoot Cisco AnyConnect remote access VPN and site‑to‑site VPN connections.
• Administer F5 load balancers to ensure optimal traffic distribution and high availability.
• Operate Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and endpoint onboarding.
• Manage cloud networking services in Microsoft Azure (VNets, NVAs) and Google Cloud Platform (VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, IAP).
• Monitor the entire network infrastructure, respond to incidents, and produce health and utilization reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and provide on‑call support for 24/7 operations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, firewall, wireless and VPN technologies.
