IT Project Manager – Securities, Custody & Fund Administration

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead large‑scale technology and transformation initiatives across securities, custody, fund administration, and investment operations in Qatar. The role will oversee end‑to‑end implementation of platforms, ensuring alignment with business, technology, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end transformation projects for securities, custody, fund administration, and investment operations.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Oversee implementation and integration of securities and investment operations platforms.
• Coordinate business requirements, product gap analysis, solution design, integration, and data migration.
• Manage complex multi‑vendor programs and technology partners.
• Engage senior business and technology stakeholders, providing regular updates and executive communications.
• Ensure projects meet quality, security, operational, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in banking technology and transformation.
• 8+ years leading large‑scale securities, custody, fund administration, or investment operations platform implementations.
• Proven experience delivering complex multi‑vendor transformation programs.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior business and technology executives.
• PMP certification and deep expertise in enterprise project/program management.

Required skills

• Hands‑on implementation experience with FIS Securities & Lending.
• Hands‑on implementation experience with TCS BaNCS – Wealth/Securities.
• Hands‑on implementation experience with Aurora Reconciliation.
• Familiarity with SimCorp (advantage).
• Familiarity with Charles River (advantage).
• Familiarity with BlackRock Aladdin (advantage).
• Familiarity with Temenos Wealth (advantage).
• Familiarity with FNZ (advantage).
