IT Specialist – Cluster Support

About the role

The IT Specialist – Cluster Support will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting the hotel’s computer networks, workstations and server systems. The role includes providing end‑user support, ensuring network security and managing hardware and software assets across the Pearl Island property.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and test LAN/WAN networks, servers and workstations.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, user accounts and telephone systems.
• Train users on proper system usage and security procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity, hardware failures and software errors.
• Plan and execute equipment moves, additions, changes and system enhancements.
• Implement and monitor network security measures.
• Manage disk space allocation and backup procedures, ensuring backup media are stored securely.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all IT equipment.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant IT experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on‑site and lift objects up to 50 lb.
