IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide technical and operational support for our IT systems, infrastructure and end‑user environments in Doha, Qatar. The role involves troubleshooting issues, performing system administration tasks and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for end users and IT services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, system and network connectivity problems.
• Perform routine system administration, maintenance and patching activities.
• Monitor services, identify operational issues proactively and log incidents.
• Assist with deployments, upgrades, configurations and testing of IT solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles and service records.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior technical teams when required.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures and service‑management processes.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or technical support.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Fundamentals or Cisco CCNA are a plus.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and effective communication skills.
