IT Support Engineer – Part‑Time Dispatch

About the role

SkySys is seeking a Field IT Support Engineer to provide on‑site dispatch support for client locations in Doha. The position is part‑time and on‑demand, with typically 1–2 visits per month and at least 24 hours’ notice.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hardware and software troubleshooting on PCs, laptops, printers and other peripherals.
• Execute break/fix tasks and smart‑hands infrastructure support at client sites.
• Configure and verify Windows OS, VPN, DNS, DHCP and RDP connections.
• Transport and set up IT equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Use a personal laptop for remote connectivity and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of field IT or desktop support experience.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Personal laptop for onsite work and remote access.
• Authorization from NOC sponsor to work with SkySys.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.

What we offer

• $15 USD per hour as an independent contractor.
