IT Support Specialist – Advanced Technical Support

About the role

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to deliver advanced technical support for its IT systems, applications, and end‑user services in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on resolving complex incidents, supporting system deployments, and maintaining high service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for IT systems and applications.
• Resolve escalated incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
• Monitor, maintain, and improve assigned IT services and environments.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring technical issues.
• Assist with system deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, application, security, and vendor teams.
• Support service‑improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT support, technical support, or service operations.
• Experience supporting applications, desktops, infrastructure, and end‑user environments.
• Knowledge of IT service management processes and best practices.
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred; relevant Microsoft, networking, or vendor certifications a plus.
