IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to deliver advanced technical support for our IT systems, applications, and end‑user services. The role focuses on troubleshooting complex issues, resolving escalated incidents, and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for IT systems and applications.
• Resolve escalated incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
• Monitor, maintain, and improve assigned IT services and environments.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for recurring technical problems.
• Support application, desktop, infrastructure, and end‑user services.
• Assist with system deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, application, security, and vendor teams.
• Contribute to service‑improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, technical support, or service operations.
• Proven experience supporting applications, desktops, infrastructure and end‑user environments.
• Knowledge of IT service management processes and best practices.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent preferred.
• Relevant Microsoft, networking, application or vendor certifications are a plus.
