Junior Automotive Technician (Diesel Engine)

About the role

A multi-brand workshop in Qatar is looking for skilled and motivated Junior Automotive Technicians, specializing in diesel engines. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing mechanical issues and delivering high-quality repairs within strict timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and complex mechanical repairs on various makes and models
• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical faults and troubleshoot engine and chassis issues
• Follow supervisor instructions and repair guidelines strictly, using tools and equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and report major faults to the service manager
• Test-drive repaired vehicles to confirm all issues are resolved

Required profile

• ITI or diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
• 1+ years of proven experience in an automotive workshop; multi-brand experience highly preferred
• Only Muslim and Christian candidates are eligible to apply
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a strong team-player attitude

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of engine components and basic electrical systems
