Junior General Accountant

About the role

A well‑established organization in Qatar is looking for a Junior General Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with 2–3 years of experience to develop their career.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations and support cash management.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgeting processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments, support audits and perform other finance duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a general accounting role.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Arabic‑speaking candidates preferred; all nationalities welcome, preferably based in Qatar.
