Key Accounts Specialist - Electrical Utility Projects

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Key Accounts Specialist in Doha to provide senior-level technical, operational and project coordination support for key electrical accounts, bulk supply customers and strategic utility projects. The role acts as the primary technical focal point for key customers, ensuring quality service delivery, smooth project execution, customer satisfaction and compliance with company standards, ISO requirements and health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical focal point for key electrical accounts and bulk supply customers.
• Support the design, review and implementation of electrical solutions for bulk electrical customers.
• Coordinate with clients, internal departments, contractors, consultants and stakeholders on bulk electrical projects.
• Monitor the performance, quality, efficiency and reliability of bulk electrical operations and services.
• Review customer requirements, technical submissions, project documents, service requests and deliverables.
• Provide after-sales technical support, follow-up and resolution of technical or service issues.
• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of complex utility projects and align service delivery with approved standards, customer expectations and project timelines.
• Prepare performance summaries, customer feedback reports, technical updates and recommendations for management review.
• Identify areas for improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and team members involved in key account management and technical coordination.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, ISO requirements, approved procedures and Health & Safety regulations, and maintain proper documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification required or preferred.
• Minimum 13+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, metering operations, key account management, utility operations or utility project management.
• Strong experience managing bulk customers and complex utility projects.
• Preferred: experience with utility companies, bulk electrical customers, metering operations, strategic accounts, escalations, ISO, safety, risk management and business continuity requirements.
• Written and spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
