Kitchen and Laundry Technician

About the role

The Kitchen and Laundry Technician provides prompt maintenance and repair services to guests and hotel facilities. The role involves responding to guest requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of kitchen, laundry, and mechanical room equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines visually and carry necessary tools and radios.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and communicate daily activities to other shifts.
• Execute basic repairs on plumbing, electrical components, HVAC filters, lighting, and landscaping systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, preferably in hotel engineering or similar environment.
• Valid driver’s licence.
