Kitchen Equipment Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician to join our team. The role involves working on a variety of commercial kitchen appliances in restaurant environments, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Install commercial kitchen equipment such as chimneys, exhaust hoods, ovens, grills, fryers, dishwashers and refrigerators.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on all installed appliances.
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to understand equipment needs and provide technical support.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Good communication skills for interacting with restaurant personnel.
