About the role
The Laundry Driver / Helper is responsible for transporting clean and dirty linens between the hotel and the laundry facility, ensuring timely and safe delivery while supporting the laundry team with folding and loading tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Load clean linens onto the truck and deliver them to the hotel according to schedule.
- Collect dirty linens from the hotel and deliver them to the laundry.
- Assist in the towel‑folding area, including folding towels, bath robes and loading caddies.
- Maintain a logbook recording trips, kilometres, fuel usage, etc.
- Clean the laundry truck daily (inside) and weekly (outside) and report any maintenance issues.
- Observe traffic laws, speed limits and proper parking for the laundry truck.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a laundry driver, helper or similar role (preferred).
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Physical fitness to lift and carry laundry bags.
- Reliable, punctual, honest and professional appearance.
