Lead Power Systems Engineer - Data Centres

About the role

The Lead Power Systems Engineer will oversee the design, review and implementation of critical electrical infrastructure that powers our data centre facilities. This senior position ensures reliable, redundant power delivery across high‑voltage, medium‑voltage and low‑voltage networks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design and engineering activities for new and existing data centre projects.
• Review and optimise power distribution architecture and redundancy strategies.
• Manage HV/MV/LV systems, including UPS, generators, transformers and switchgear.
• Conduct power system studies, reliability assessments and performance analyses.
• Support procurement, testing, commissioning and energisation of power equipment.
• Ensure compliance with data centre reliability standards and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in critical power infrastructure.
• Extensive background in data centre, mission‑critical or utility projects.

Required skills

• HV, MV and LV system design.
• UPS, generator and transformer engineering.
• Switchgear selection and configuration.
• Power system studies and reliability assessments.
• Procurement, testing, commissioning and energisation processes.
