Learning & Development Manager

About the role

Join IHG in Doha as a Learning & Development Manager, driving the property’s L&D strategy aligned with business priorities and brand standards. You will shape learning pathways, support leadership development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Learning Needs Analysis and create an annual learning plan and calendar.
• Own implementation and adoption of IHG University, ensuring mandatory and role‑based learning pathways are completed.
• Facilitate leadership development journeys for supervisors, managers and senior leaders.
• Support PDPs, succession planning and high‑potential talent development.
• Lead departmental trainer framework, coach trainers and coordinate onboarding and compliance programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Learning & Development or HR experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and quality management practices.

Required skills

• Experience with learning management systems.
• Training administration expertise.
