About the role

The College of General Education at the University of Doha for Science and Technology invites applications for a full‑time Lecturer position in Mathematics and Physics. The successful candidate will teach first‑year and selected higher‑level courses, support curriculum development, and contribute to the university’s applied and experiential learning mission.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver first‑year courses in Mathematics (Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre‑Calculus, Calculus I, Statistics, Linear Algebra, Numerical Problem Solving) and Physics (General Physics, Introductory Physics) and selected higher‑level Physics modules.
• Evaluate student progress, maintain course portfolios, and manage learning‑environment resources.
• Participate in instructional development, program review, and accreditation documentation.
• Contribute to cross‑college collaboration projects and new program development initiatives.
• Use educational technology platforms to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum three years of full‑time teaching experience at upper secondary, post‑secondary or higher education level.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate educational technology and digital tools into teaching.
• Commitment to applied and experiential learning, continuous professional development, and collaborative academic work.
