Lifeguard – Banana Island Resort Doha

About the role

Join the luxury Banana Island Resort Doha team as a Lifeguard, ensuring the safety and well‑being of guests in all swimming areas. You will work in a dynamic, hospitality‑focused environment where professionalism and guest service are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor designated pool and beach areas during posted business hours to guarantee guest safety.
• Maintain and set up safety equipment, including life‑saving flotation devices, first‑aid kits, and rescue boats.
• Display correct safety flags, post business hours, and provide accurate pool depth, water and air temperature information.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed.
• Ensure all safety signage and equipment are in place and functional at all times.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Valid Lifeguard certification with CPR/First‑Aid qualification.
• 2 to 5 years of lifeguarding experience, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
• Good command of English and a pleasant, customer‑focused personality.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and handle emergency situations calmly.
