About the role
The Lifeguard ensures the safety of guests at the pool area, responding to emergencies, enforcing rules, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor swimmers and intervene using appropriate rescue techniques when needed.
- Observe the pool area for hazardous conditions, unsafe activities, and distressed swimmers.
- Promote facility rules, assist injured guests until EMS arrives, and report accidents.
- Maintain cleanliness of pool deck, towels, and equipment according to company procedures.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb unassisted and 75 lb with assistance.
