Lifeguard – Luxury Resort

About the role

As a Lifeguard at The Ritz‑Carlton, Doha you will ensure the safety of guests using the resort’s indoor and outdoor pools and private beach. Working in a world‑class luxury environment, you will be the first line of protection, providing prompt assistance and maintaining a secure swimming area.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor pool and beach areas continuously for any signs of distress or unsafe conditions.
• Apply appropriate rescue techniques to assist swimmers in need.
• Enforce pool rules and safety regulations to prevent accidents.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, administer first aid or CPR as required, and coordinate with medical personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the swimming area, including equipment checks.
• Document incidents and report them to management according to resort procedures.

Required profile

• Valid lifeguard certification and proven experience in pool or beach lifeguarding.
• Strong observational skills and ability to stay alert in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent physical fitness and swimming ability.
• Professional demeanor suitable for a five‑star hospitality setting.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation.
