Lifeguard / Pool Attendant

About the role

The Lifeguard / Pool Attendant ensures the safety of all guests using the hotel’s swimming facilities while maintaining water quality and equipment in optimal condition. You will be the primary point of contact for pool users, providing a secure and pleasant aquatic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the pool area continuously during duty hours to safeguard children and adults.
• Test and adjust pool water chemistry (chlorine, pH) daily to meet health standards.
• Inspect and report the performance of pumps, filters, heating systems, and lighting.
• Coordinate with maintenance for temperature recording, filtration cleaning, and equipment repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the main pool, splash pool, jacuzzi, and adjacent fountain.
• Arrange sun loungers, mattresses, chairs, tables, and umbrellas each day.
• Report missing or damaged assets to club reception and supervision.

Required profile

• Valid lifeguard certification issued by a recognized authority.
• Current first aid and CPR certifications.
• 1–2 years of lifeguard or pool attendant experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Excellent swimming and rescue abilities.
• Good physical health and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
• Professional demeanor, strong communication, and a positive “Yes I Can!” attitude.
