Lifeguard / Pool Attendant

About the role

The Lifeguard/Pool Attendant will ensure the safety and enjoyment of all pool users at the Radisson Hotel in Doha. You will be responsible for monitoring the pool area, maintaining water quality, and supporting the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Remain on duty at the pool area at all times, supervising children and adults.
• Monitor and report the performance of pumps, drains, filters, and heating systems.
• Record and maintain pool temperature, chlorine, and pH levels, and perform daily water testing.
• Supervise the filtration system, circulation system, and pool lighting, reporting any maintenance needs.
• Ensure cleanliness of the main pool, children’s splash pool, jacuzzi, and the hotel fountain.
• Arrange sun loungers, mattresses, chairs, tables, and umbrellas daily.
• Inspect pool assets, report missing or damaged items, and adhere to grooming and uniform standards.

Required profile

• Valid lifeguard certification issued by a recognized authority.
• Current first aid and CPR certifications.
• 1–2 years of lifeguard or pool attendant experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Good health and physical condition for rescues and emergency response.
• Positive “Yes I Can!” attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
