Major End Repairer (MIR) – Qatar

About the role

Raytheon is seeking a Major End Repairer (MIR) to support the Qatar Depot Operations program. The MIR will apply deep system knowledge of the Patriot missile system to diagnose, repair, and verify major end items in an onsite environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform depot‑level diagnostics, fault isolation, cleanup, and repair of Patriot Weapon System major end items.
• Execute electronic and mechanical repairs using all available hardware and software tools.
• Monitor subordinate work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Report accurate equipment status to program leadership and the customer.
• Lift up to 50 lb and operate in extreme environmental conditions.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active Secret DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s with 2 years experience, or HS/GED with 4 years experience).
• Four years of field maintenance experience on Patriot or similar electronic defense systems.
• Successful completion of a Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course (MOS 14E/27X/34S/94S/916A/918D) or equivalent.
• Experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations.
