Manager – Investigations (Qatarization)

About the role

The Manager – Investigations will lead the investigation of outward and inward remittance transactions for QNB's retail and corporate clients. The role ensures compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily balancing of suspense and transit accounts used for remittance processing.
• Notify the Remittance Supervisor of long‑outstanding transactions to trigger timely follow‑up.
• Implement KPIs and best practices for the Senior Associate, Investigations function.
• Monitor daily queries received via SWIFT and email, ensuring none are left unattended.
• Act within delegated authority, promoting cost consciousness and operational efficiency.
• Provide efficient remittance processing services to internal branches, supporting external customer satisfaction.
• Maintain service level agreements with internal units and build strong inter‑departmental relationships.

Required profile

• Experience handling remittance investigations for retail and corporate clientele.
• Strong knowledge of QNB’s investigation policies and related processes.
• Ability to work within delegated powers and adhere to compliance standards.
• Focus on accuracy, timeliness, and minimizing escalations.
