Mathematics Teacher

About the role

The Mathematics Teacher plans and delivers engaging math lessons aligned with the American curriculum for assigned grade levels, using diverse instructional strategies to support different learning styles. The role covers daily teaching, assessment and record keeping, as well as participation in curriculum discussions and school events.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and assessments and teach classes
• Monitor student progress and give constructive feedback
• Take part in curriculum discussions and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with families and colleagues
• Supervise learners during school activities and support school events
• Participate in professional development

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or a closely related field
• Teaching license or certification preferred
• Prior international or American curriculum teaching experience is an advantage

Required skills

• Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
• Demonstrated experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
• Effective classroom management and inclusive, student-centered approach
• Comfort with educational technology and digital tools
