About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Mechanical Fitter in Doha within the shipping and marine sector. The fitter assembles, installs and maintains mechanical components and machinery according to technical drawings and specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble and install mechanical components and machinery according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Inspect mechanical systems and identify issues, wear or damage.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, including bearings, gears, valves and seals.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and precision instruments.
- Use of drills, grinders, lathes and welding tools.
