Mechanical Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of critical rotating equipment. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems across plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of pumps, compressors, turbines, and other rotating machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare‑part usage, and equipment history.
• Collaborate with engineers and fellow technicians during shutdowns, overhauls, and commissioning projects.
• Ensure all work complies with HSE standards and company safety policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within oil & gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Good problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
