About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Mechanical Technician in Doha, covering utilities and product handling. The role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of mechanical equipment in heavy industrial settings.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cooling towers, boilers, air compressors, diesel engines, pumps, valves and gearboxes.
- Maintain conveyors, reclaimers, ship loaders, storage tanks and product handling systems.
- Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
- Carry out equipment inspection, repair, alignment and overhauling.
- Follow PTW, LOTO and HSE procedures.
- Maintain pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, turbines, vessels, exchangers and piping.
- Install, remove and reinstall equipment.
- Read mechanical drawings, isometrics and datasheets, and inspect work quality.
Required profile
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
- Experience in utilities, fertilizer, power plant, port, cement, mining or heavy industrial plants.
