About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Mechanical Workshop Technician in Doha within the fertilizer sector. The technician maintains, repairs and fabricates mechanical equipment in the workshop.
Key responsibilities
- Disassemble, inspect and assess mechanical assemblies, components and machinery for wear, damage or failure.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools and precision instruments.
- Reassemble equipment to original specifications, ensuring proper alignment, clearances and torque settings.
- Perform fabrication work, including cutting, welding and grinding metal components.
- Carry out preventive maintenance such as lubrication, cleaning and scheduled parts replacement.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and test repaired equipment to ensure it runs correctly and safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized workshop, manage tool inventory and order parts and supplies.
- Complete job cards and service reports accurately.
