MIS Business Intelligence Consultant - Cognos

About the role

Nair Systems is recruiting an MIS Consultant for its Qatar operations, focused on business intelligence work in the banking sector. The consultant works with stakeholders to turn business needs into data-driven insights and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define business requirements, goals and objectives.
• Analyse complex banking processes, systems and data to find areas for improvement and optimisation.
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency, customer experience and revenue.
• Design, develop and maintain business intelligence tools, dashboards and reports.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to spot trends, patterns and growth opportunities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate business intelligence solutions into existing systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/MIS, Computer Science or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence or a related role in banking.
• Knowledge of banking regulatory and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
• Joining time frame of 2 weeks, maximum 1 month.

Required skills

• SQL for data retrieval, manipulation and analysis.
• Report development with Power BI, Cognos or similar.
