Multi-Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Multi‑Technician is responsible for maintaining all hotel facilities, equipment and guest areas at Banana Island Resort Doha. You will perform both preventive and corrective work across a range of systems to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation. The role requires a versatile, hands‑on professional with practical knowledge in several maintenance disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily maintenance, repair and troubleshooting throughout the property.
• Execute preventive maintenance according to the established schedule.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns, especially in guest rooms and public areas.
• Perform basic electrical repairs such as lighting, switches and sockets.
• Conduct basic plumbing repairs including leaking taps, pipes, toilets and drains.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and maintain HVAC equipment as needed.
• Undertake minor carpentry, painting, tiling and general building repairs.
• Inspect equipment and report defects or potential problems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate outstanding issues to supervisors.
• Support energy and water conservation initiatives and ensure safe work practices.

Required profile

• Technical qualification or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing or a related field.
• Previous experience in a multi‑technician, maintenance or engineering role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
