Munitions Accountability Section Chief

About the role

The Munitions Accountability Section Chief manages and supervises all munitions accountability and inventory actions, ensuring compliance with USAF regulations and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and supervise the Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS) and report system discrepancies.
• Manage operations and inspection elements, conduct warehouse inventories, and reconcile ADR files with TICMS records monthly.
• Monitor training, daily connectivity, and emergency response for munitions sites.
• Ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement and ISO 9001 QMS, and oversee munitions shipments and stand‑by duties.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least eight years of military munitions experience.
• Minimum five years in munitions operations and one year in custody/accounting/document control.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US citizenship required).
• Physically capable of lifting/pushing/pulling at least 50 lb and able to travel domestically and internationally.

Required skills

• Intermediate knowledge of USAF Supply and Tech Order systems or equivalent.
• Proficiency with TICMS, Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and hold a valid driver’s license.
