Network ULD Manager

About the role

The Network ULD Manager will lead the strategic planning and full‑cycle management of Unit Load Device (ULD) stock to support operational requirements, fleet growth and network development for Qatar Airways Cargo. This role works closely with senior internal and external stakeholders to drive KPI implementation, visibility dashboards and global ULD initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage ULD stock throughout its lifecycle to meet operational and network needs.
• Develop relationships with upper‑level internal and external stakeholders to roll out KPIs and visibility tools.
• Introduce and implement new technologies such as BLE to digitalise the ULD fleet.
• Ensure compliance with QCAA audits and act as the focal point for global rollout of digital initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, perform industry benchmarks and propose improvements for the ULD department.
• Establish reporting structures to track damage ratios and support damage‑reduction initiatives.
• Define operational and handling requirements for GHAs and suppliers and embed them in contracts.
• Lead projects from strategy execution to delivery, ensuring expected outcomes are achieved.
• Maintain visibility of ULD requirements across the network and develop tools or platforms as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ULD stock planning and logistics management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills at senior and operational levels.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and drive digital transformation.
• Knowledge of QCAA audit requirements and compliance processes.
• Experience in establishing KPIs and performance measurement frameworks.
