Operations Manager – Multi‑site Hospitality & Fitness

About the role

The Area Operations Manager is a senior leader responsible for the day‑to‑day performance of multiple fitness, wellness and hospitality venues across a defined region. The role ensures operational excellence, consistent guest experiences and achievement of financial targets while developing high‑performing site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all sites, ensuring compliance with brand standards, health & safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular site visits and operational audits, develop SOPs and drive consistent, high‑quality guest and member experiences.
• Own the regional P&L, drive revenue growth, manage costs and achieve EBITDA targets; analyse financial reports, KPIs and membership data.
• Lead, coach and develop Site/Club Managers, manage recruitment, onboarding and retention, and conduct performance reviews.
• Champion exceptional member service, monitor NPS and satisfaction surveys, resolve escalated complaints and implement retention initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety and hygiene legislation, conduct audits and maintain risk assessments and staff certifications.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in multi‑site hospitality, fitness or wellness operations.
• Proven track record of P&L ownership and delivering financial targets.
• Strong people‑management skills with experience coaching site managers.
• Ability to travel regularly across multiple locations.
