Outdoor Dining Manager

About the role

The Outdoor Dining Manager is responsible for overseeing all outdoor restaurant and bar areas, ensuring smooth daily operations, high service standards, and compliance with sanitation and liquor regulations. This role works closely with the front‑of‑house team during peak periods to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day‑to‑day operations of outdoor dining and bar spaces.
• Maintain service and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with local food‑handling and liquor laws.
• Review staffing levels, schedule employees, and fill gaps to meet operational and financial goals.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the food‑and‑beverage team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance environment.
• Assist with menu planning, inventory control, and financial performance monitoring.
• Provide hands‑on support to servers and hosts during busy periods.
• Monitor alcohol service to ensure legal compliance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, **or** a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business Administration, etc., with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to manage a team and oversee restaurant operations.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards and liquor regulations.
