Outlet Manager - Food and Beverage

About the role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is hiring a full-time Outlet Manager (Food and Beverage) in Doha, Qatar. The outlet covers restaurants, bars and room service, and the manager supervises daily operations, supports menu planning, keeps sanitation standards and helps servers and hosts during peak meal periods. The goal is to improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day operations, including staffing levels, service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas, and acting in the absence of the Assistant Restaurant Manager.
• Lead the food and beverage team, coach and mentor staff, set goals and priorities, and ensure compliance with food safety, liquor laws and other regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, handle guest complaints, collect feedback and ensure corrective action is taken.
• Manage human resources: set performance standards, run training and development, treat employees fairly and improve retention.
• Oversee the financial aspects of the department, including purchasing and invoice payments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or a 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary or a related profession, or 2 years of experience with a 2-year degree.
