People Operations Officer

About the role

Ideal Solutions, a company recognised as a Great Place to Work for 2026, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Officer to join its team in Doha, Qatar. The role covers the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to performance and development, and contributes to a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job postings and candidate assessments to interviews, offers and onboarding.
• Handle employee documentation, attendance, leave administration and employee records.
• Oversee work permits, QIDs, sponsorships and medical insurance.
• Support performance evaluations, probation assessments and performance management.
• Coordinate inductions, training programmes and development initiatives.
• Support employee relations, disciplinary and grievance processes, and the implementation of HR policies.
• Contribute to engagement initiatives and foster an inclusive workplace.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure confidentiality and support compliance with Qatar Labour Law and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant HR experience.
• Hands-on experience in recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
• Good knowledge of Qatar Labour Law.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• A proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership and commitment to confidentiality.
• CHRM, CHRP, SHRM or a similar certification is an advantage.
